estate investing is not as simple as many may think. It’s indeed a more time
consuming process.

a process that entails:-

managing of the property.
3.
Keeping
good financial records.
4.
Marketing
and attracting good tenants for your property.
NB: You need to
know some real estate investments tips in order to be safe and profitable.

1. THE WHAT?
What is real
estate investing?
Real
estate refers to land / or anything which can be permanently attached to land.
In essence it could mean a building of any sort which is permanent or land on
which these permanent structures could be placed.
2. THE WHO
Who can invest
in real estate?
Anyone
who can provide the resources can invest in real estate. Though it may require
substantial amounts of money.
It’s
worthwhile to note the following keys if one is interested in real estate
investing
§ Your Credit Matters
If you are
looking at taking out a loan for you investments, you need to analyze whether the
profit is worth the risk.
§ Questions To Ask
When
choosing a piece of real estate it’s prudent to ask questions and lots of them
e.g.
a)
Has
the land / building been appraised?
b)
What’s
the overall prevailing value of the neighbouring properties?
c)
How
has the local area affected the value of the land / property?
d)
What
are the future economic prospects of the area?
NB:
Ø Be pro-active
– If you find a property which suits of your personal goals and you have fully explored
the options – TAKE ACTION
Ø Trust your
information but also trust your gut.
3. THE WHY
Why would
someone want to invest in land? Why would someone invest in a building?
§ Lifetime Income- An investment in a property
then put in the market for rental income can bring a lifetime of income.
§ Service To The Community - With the acute shortage of housing in the
state, the investor who chooses to put his property for rental is providing a noble
service to his/ her community
§ Actualization – having your own home is
indeed an immensely satisfying achievement in life.
4. THE WHERE
Something
to remember when looking to invest in real estate is location.
How
much you will spend on the property, how much you will earn on rental and how
much you’ll earn from the sale of such depends on the location.
5. THE WHEN
When is a good
time to be a real estate investor?
My
answer is yesterday!!!!!
